It provides you with the necessary utilities for finding and removing duplicates, fixing ripped audio files and for retrieving album covers. The application's functionality is clean and simple, so you won't spend too much time fixing your music collection.

PerfectTUNES is free to try, with a few limitations. It works on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 and it supports both 32 and 64-bit versions. You can start installing the application with only one click and it takes a few seconds to complete the process. Also, there is no need to install any additional drivers or other tools.

The application's tools are presented on a compact user interface, on which you can add one or more music folders. Once you add one or more folders, you only need to select a tool and the application will do the rest. The Album Art tool will scan your targeted music folders, including their sub-folders and it will tell you which albums have covers. The albums are displayed in a list, along with a few details and you can sort them and select different filters, to show albums with or without covers or albums with low-res covers. If an album doesn't have a cover, you may click a Fix button, next to its entry, to retrieve cover images from the Internet.

If your music library contains duplicates, you can use the application's duplicate finder. After a quick scanning process, PerfectTUNES will display all duplicate pairs. The found songs can be played on a separate window, so you can make sure that they are actual duplicates. Another useful feature is the AcurateRip tool, which scans lossless tracks for ripping errors. Ripped audio tracks may contain errors, due to scratched discs or faulty drives. The application is capable of identifying such files and it gives you the possibility of fixing their errors immediately.
